We tried to get crabcakes when in Maine and being in the Northeast, seafood is our passion. It was wonderful! You haven’t tasted crab cakes until you get it from the source. Maine was in our thoughts when we got back home and we miss the crab cakes.

Simmer for about 20-30 minutes. Add corn and peas. Heat for 10 more minutes or till the corn is cooked. Then add the crab meat and heat further till it is fully cooked. Remove bay leaf. Serve hot.
